Flash & Flex Developers Magazine has been around for a little over a year.  You can find their mag in places like Borders Books, but coming September  they have decided to pull the publication from the shelf for good…  Now before you panic Flash & Flex will be going 100% digital come September, in addition to that it will also be 100% free.

Now this is big news in more then one way.  This shows that magazines can profit more  from adds then it can from sales and live online for free to the public..  This has a number of benefits  from the environment, over all costs, rapid saturation to being a free publication. In the end this means more readers and less costs for everyone.

So if you haven’t all ready go sign up for the news letter at http://www.ffdmag.com and get your free publication of  Flash & Flex Developers Magazine coming September.

  1. Maybe if they hired some copy editors that were native speakers of English they could have been more successful. Heck, maybe if they just hired *a* copy editor, period.

Other than that, I kind of like the magazine as-is; yes, in hard-copy form!
